“AZALLA” was the first written word for medical cannabis in ancient Sumeria (Mesopotamia), which is now southern Iraq. It was written in cuneiform on clay tablets back in 3000 BC.

All MA Cannabis Industry professionals must complete a 4-hour Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) program, which is considered the Basic Core Curriculum. Industry agents are also responsible for an additional 4-hours of industry-specific training. Starting in June 2022 the Cannabis Control Commission will require all employees to receive 4-hours of Advanced Curriculum training as well as the RVT.

The Massachusetts Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) is a required 4-hour educational training program provided by trainers that have been certified by the MA Cannabis Control Commission.

Agents required to complete the RVT program include employees of Marijuana Research Facilities, Marijuana Testing Laboratories, Marijuana Product Manufacturers, Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Agents, Marijuana Establishment Agents, Craft Cooperatives, Microbusinesses, and Marijuana Delivery Operators.

Upon completion of the course, you will need to complete a 50-question multiple choice quiz - you must score at least 70% to pass. After passing the quiz you will receive your certificate of completion via email.
